I had the honor of being raised in an environment full of faith. My parents had this ability to believe even when there was little evidence to support it. (Every parent passes their beliefs on to their children, most of the time unconsciously.)
Each one of us goes through life either full of faith or full of fear.
Faith says, I can move mountains.
Faith sees what physical eyes miss.
Faith has confidence in our higher self.
Faith is full of hope, love and courage.
Faith is high on the vibrational scale.
Faith feels good!
It’s impossible to experience faith and fear at the same time.
Fear says, the mountains will surely be my ruin.
Fear is blind.
Fear has confidence in the worst case senario.
Fear is full of anxiety, nervousness and paranoia.
Fear is the lowest on the vibrational scale.
Fear feels like death.
Listen to your words, they tell your story.
Faith says every day is new and full of magic.
Faith says things are working out for me.
Faith says I have more than enough.
Fear says every day is scary and full of uncertainty.
Fear says things haven’t worked out for me in the past.
Fear says there’s never enough.
Accept faith, reject fear.
Well meaning people often offer advice that is based in fear. They pass on information they read in the newspaper or heard on the news. Their conversations start off with, be careful. Their battle cry is change your mind, change your plans, otherwise destruction is certain. Bless them and keep movin’!
Faith is in alignment with who you really are.
No matter how factual fear based words are, they are never wise. Wisdom is having the ability to stay in alignment with your true self, your higher self, the Universe and all its support. And the surest way to determine if words are flowing from faith or fear is pay attention to how you feel.
When you feel good, it’s faith. When you feel bad, it’s fear.
You know who you are.
You know what your heart desires.
You know endless resources are available to you.
You know all things are possible to those who believe.
Now go move some mountains!
Hungry for More, Monique Alvarez *Have you downloaded my free ebook, The Hungry Soul’s Manifesto? It’s all about remembering what’s important in life – creating purpose and passion, instead of just passing the time amassing stuff. p.s. If there are typos, spelling or grammar mistakes in this post don’t worry about. Those are the kinds of things I’ve worried about for FAR too long. It’s time to just get it out and who cares if it’s not perfect, it’s from the heart!
