It was the early part of my day and thought to myself I would like to take my meditation to a new level.
Things seem to be moving quickly and in a good way. I keep meeting people who are so in line with what I’m up to and there’s a whole lot of connecting going on. I’m going to be doing what I call “blog interviews” with these cool people starting next week. And I’ll be adding contributors as well – cool people who will be guest bloggers here.
And the more this happens, the more I feel the need to fill up and connect back to Source.
My day continued and then I remembered I had ran into a kid spinning a sign on our corner advertising a new yoga studio. And I remembered I had put the post card on the fridge. As I began to look at the various classes on the website I spotted an hour long guided meditation. I perked up and looked a when it was offered…in about an hour!
I was reminded that every time we ask, it is given.
The class was just what I needed and wanted. I love that feeling of washing away the mental dust and connecting to the truest part of ourselves. Focusing on breathing when all too often we are holding our breath. And I ended up meeting a new friend that I want to feature here very soon.
Time we invest in slowing the mind and opening the heart is invaluable.
If you feel like you don’t have time to meditate, then you know you must. I have found once I’m clear, I can focus and the time expands so I can complete what my day requires of me. If you’ve never meditated or it’s been edged out now is the perfect time to bring in to your daily routine.
