How often do we hear those around us talking about what they’d do if they won the lottery or if they quit their job or if they…
How often do we tell ourselves and those around us what we want but we talk about it like it will never happen?
Yeah, no bueno.
I’ve made a point to observe Nature and this is what I’ve noticed. It’s completely natural and easy for a flower to bloom, for a dog to bark and the sun to shine. There is no struggle. There is no battle. There is no question if they’ll pull it off.
So then why is it when someone has a love for art they wonder if they could live happily as an artist?
Wouldn’t that be the most natural and easy thing for them to do? Dedicating their life to what moves them, inspires them and lights them up? Wouldn’t that be true for everyone?
Getting what we want most is easy.
It’s the most natural thing in the world.
All we’ve got to do is be ourselves.
Go toward your preferences.
Lean into your uniqueness.
And if you’re sitting in your chair shaking your head…all you have to do is delete all the junk well meaning people told you and get into the flow of who you really are. Think about what you enjoyed from the time you were a little kid and tune into your heart. Don’t have any idea what I’m talking about? Turn off everything in your life and spend time alone. Get to know yourself, instead of the version you were raised to be.
Getting what you want is really just getting into the flow of who you are.
For me the most natural thing to do is travel, create a safe spaces, fill bellies, wipe tears, bandage cuts, give hugs and encourage.
What comes natural to you?
That’s all you got to ask yourself…
Don’t insist on making this complicated…
Life is a joy…
It’s all turning out wonderfully…
Believing you are the way you are for a reason.
That’s all you need to do to get exactly what you want most.
Hungry for More, Monique Alvarez p.s. If there are typos, spelling or grammar mistakes in this post don’t worry about. Those are the kinds of things I’ve worried about for FAR too long. It’s time to just get it out and who cares if it’s not perfect, it’s from the heart!
