No just reading and not doing ok?! Things change when we change and we change when we starting doing things in a new way. Like last week, you’ll want to do this exercise when you’re between 1 and 5 on the emotional guidance scale.
4. Positive Expectation/Belief
Start out with getting four pieces of paper. Label the top of each page, My Body, My Home, My Relationships, My Work. Take a few minutes to write down things you desire about each subject. Don’t think too hard or complicate this, just write down whatever flows easily into your mind. If nothing comes to you, just move on to the next subject.
I want to return to my ideal body weight.
I want to get a great haircut.
I want to find some wonderful new clothes.
I want to feel strong and fit.
Then list out why you want each of the things.
I Want To Return To My Ideal Body Weight because…
I feel best when I’m that weight.
I’ll be able to wear some of my favorite clothes.
It will be fun to shop for a new wardrobe.
The Creative Workshop is really helpful in helping us focus on those things we want more immediately in our lives. These four areas are the ones that affected us on a daily basis and when we focus on them and what we want, energy begins to flow and things begin to shift. As you begin to think about each area and add new desires and why, you’ll only add to that energy.
Thinking about why we want something assists us in feeling good about it, instead of focusing on how they will come about. Remember you don’t have to know how they will come about or when or with who’s help.
